How Well Do You Know the Wrestling Superstars Line?
Here's a fun little quiz I stumbled across while browsing Twitter the other evening. The quiz features 14 pictures from the LJN Wrestling Superstars line. Can you identify them all? I did. It looks like the quiz creator used a couple of our images, too. That Bruno Sammartino image is from way back in early 2006.
Anyway, here's the quiz. Let us know how you do.

Just In: 1990s WWF In Your House
Our quest to bring you the tough-to-find videos others can't continues. Check our eBay store today and you'll find some unique additions in our Wrestling Videos of the '90s section. This includes some elusive In Your House events from 1995 and 1996.

- In Your House I: You wouldn't be much of a wrestling fan if you didn't acknowledge In Your House's humble beginnings. While the majority of the non-Big 5 WWE PPVs of today are big, stand-alone events, they owe their existence to what started out as a one-shot deal on PPV.
The first IYH event, housed on the above video, aired in May 1995 and was a two-hour event. Priced at just $15, the event seemed more like a gimmick to give away a house (which they did during the broadcast). WWF continued with the IYH events during the months the standard PPVs such as Summerslam and Survivor Series did not occur.
This show features a lackluster Diesel/Sid showdown, but is notable for a pair of great Bret Hart matches. Also note the pair of unaired bonus matches that the PPV audience missed out on. If nothing else, this will always be notable for being the show that got the ball rolling on monthly wrestling PPVs. Check it out here.
- Mega Matches '96: While the early IYH events often featured mediocre wrestling action, Good Friends, Better Enemies, the surname for the April 1996 IYH event, offered one of the best Shawn Michaels matches of the 1990s. His no-holds-barred WWF title match with Diesel is still an intense classic. Unfortunately, the event was released under the title Mega Matches '96 and released in limited quantities. This meant few people have been able to get their hands on the full PPV show from a commercial source. We've got it here and at the best price on eBay.
- It's Time: Finally, we have another full IYH show that few people have been able to commercially get their hands on. The 12th installment of the IYH series, It's Time, got steady release overseas. In the States, however, the show was released in extremely limited quantities. Today, you're lucky to find the show distributed by Coliseum Video on the secondary market. Again, we've got it in pristine condition for you and at a competitive price. Give it a glance here.
We're going to add some more classic WWF this afternoon, so check back for an update soon.

Just In: 1980s NWA & WCW Videos
We pride ourselves on providing one of the more versatile and affordable '80s wrestling footage selections on the 'net. We're backing that fact by adding a bevy of NWA and WCW videos from that time period to our eBay store this weekend. Read on to see some of the highlights of these additions.

- Starrcade '85: Whether the wrestling video business has been booming or not, this remains a rarely seen title. Though the third installment of the Starrcade series, this was the first one to get the commercial video treatment. We present a gem of a copy of the video at an undeniably attractive price. Check it out here.

- Great American Bash '86: Longtime fans will recall the Great American Bash started out as a multi-week summer tour. This diamond in the rough captures some of the best moments of the 1986 incarnation of that tour. As tough as the 1987 Bash is to find on commercial video, this one is even tougher. Give it a look here.

- Halloween Havoc '89: While many consider the Great American Bash from 1989 to be one of the best wrestling PPVs of all time, this event captures the fallout from some of the biggest angles that were birthed during that show. The first ever Halloween Havoc features a Thunderdome Cage match pitting Ric Flair and Sting against Terry Funk and The Great Muta. A sight to behold, for sure. You can see the full show rundown here.

Check Out: Our Amazing Spider-Man Titles

We may specialize in the squared circle here at The Retropolis, but we could never ignore all of the fabulous non-wrestling collectibles out there. Silver and Bronze Age comic books are also dear to our collective heart.
We've been burning the midnight oil to spruce up many of our comic listings the last several days. We're replacing the crude photos of the comics with beautiful, large color scans of both the front and back of our books.
The Amazing Spider-Man, a favorite of ours, is getting the makeover first. Check out the section of our eBay store that houses these great books to see what we mean. We've also slashed prices heavily as part of the makeover process. Keep checking back, as we'll be getting to all of our comics for this treatment in the coming weeks.
