Just In: WWF Coliseum Videos

We just received a nice little shipment of WWF Coliseum Videos, predominantly from the early to mid-1990s. They're up for grabs in our eBay store. Titles include:

  • Invasion of the Bodyslammers
  • Wham, Bam, Bodyslam
  • Bashed in the USA
  • Global Warfare
  • Wrestling's Greatest Champions
  • Greatest Matches Ever!
  • Greatest Steel Cage Matches Ever!
  • Inside the WWF
  • Bloopers, Bleeps, and Bodyslams
  • Paul Bearer's Hits from the Crypt
  • WWF Greatest Hits
  • Wrestling's Tough Guys
  • WWF High Flyers
  • WWF Fan Favorites
  • Monday Night RAW Prime Cuts
  • Smack 'Em, Whack 'Em
Greatest Matches Ever! comes from Coliseum Video's more reasonably priced line of videos. Whereas their standard releases ran anywhere between $40 and $60, their shorter videos like this one usually went for around $20. They didn't produce a ton of these, which has made it a relatively difficult find. We've got it here for $39.95; about $10 less than what other sellers are requesting.

Monday Night RAW Prime Cuts is probably one of the best videos Coliseum released in its 12 years of operation from a wrestling standpoint. The video includes some classics such as Shawn Michaels putting his Intercontinental title on the line against Marty Jannetty, The Quebecers chasing after the Steiner Brothers' tag team titles, and Doink the Clown squaring off against Randy Savage. You're also going to see Razor Ramon win his first Intercontinental title and the match that later proved to be the beginning of the storyline that saw Crush turn heel. We've got it here. Best yet, it's a non-rental, meaning it comes from a private collection.

Greatest Hits is another one of those less expensive Coliseum releases that has gone on to become a sought after title. It's got a rarely seen Ultimate Warrior WWF title defense against Ted DiBiase. Probably the highlight of the video is the infrequently seen Texas Tornado and Mr. Perfect Intercontinental title match. Most of you have probably seen the Summerslam '90 match where the Tornado strips Perfect of the title, but this is where Perfect regained it. Check it out here.

Greatest Champions is an interesting title because it collects a lot of matches most fans haven't seen. This includes the Hart Foundation defending their titles against Power and Glory, Hulk Hogan putting his WWF title up for grabs in a Desert Storm match against Sgt. Slaughter, and more. A nicely priced video for the rarity of the matches it contains. Check it out here.

Speaking of rare matches, Wrestling's Greatest Steel Cage Matches Ever! houses a few. Though you've got some popular matches such as Paul Orndorff against Hulk Hogan and then the Hulkster taking on the Big Boss Man, there's a rare six-man gem on here that pits the Hart Foundation and the Honky Tonk Man against Strike Force (Tito Santana and Rick Martel) and Randy Savage. Remember, these all take place within a steel cage. Check it out here.

You're going to be able to find other previously mentioned titles such as Invasion of the Bodyslammers, Smack 'Em, Whack 'Em, and Global Warfare in our expanding Five Spot section. Everything in this section can be had for five bucks.

That's all for today, but check back tomorrow. We're going to post several WWF videos from the short-lived Columbia House collection at some really low prices. And remember to bookmark our store and blog if you haven't done so already. We've got a couple specials slated for September you won't want to miss.
